  • Location Data: Approximate location (with your permission) to show nearby events on the map.
  • Device Information: Device type, OS version, and app version for compatibility and debugging.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Personalize event recommendations and map views.
  • Connect you with friends and your crew.
  • Send transactional emails (RSVP confirmations, password resets).
  • Improve the platform through anonymized analytics.
  • Prevent fraud and ensure platform security.

  • Service providers: Infrastructure partners (hosting, email delivery) who process data on our behalf under strict agreements.

We protect your data using industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (TLS/SSL), hashed passwords, and access controls. Our infrastructure is proxied through Cloudflare for DDoS protection and traffic encryption.

7. Cookies

DYVE uses minimal cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. Analytics are privacy-focused and do not track individual users across sites.

  • Cloudflare: CDN, DDoS protection, DNS
  • Mixpanel: Privacy-focused product analytics (EU data residency)

You retain ownership of content you create. By posting on DYVE, you grant us a license to display and distribute that content within the platform.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time through the app settings.

6. Limitation of Liability

DYVE is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not responsible for event cancellations, inaccurate venue information, or actions of other users.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
