Afra

Afra is a DJ and producer from Amsterdam who began collecting vinyl and performing at the age of 16. After an eight-year hiatus, she resumed DJing in 2017, developing a sound that incorporates techno, electro, acid, and EDM, characterized by both rousing energy and emotion. Afra is known for her vinyl-only sets, ranging from subtle selections to peak-time tracks, valuing the imperfections and focus required for mixing with records. She has held a residency with Amsterdam's SPIELRAUM queer parties, performed monthly shows on Operator Radio, and played at events such as Herrensauna and Saule in Berlin. In collaboration with Marsman from Pinkman, Afra co-founded the Pinkman sublabel Mindri.
