Afriqua
Afriqua is a Berlin-based artist known for combining classical training with hip-hop influences, creating a sound that merges disco with house and techno. He released his debut album, "Colored," on R&S Records and has issued self-released singles. His work also includes the editorial project "Principles of Black Music," a five-part video and essay series for the Ableton blog. Afriqua has performed as a DJ at venues such as Circoloco at DC-10 and Berghain, and made his live debut at MUTEK. He later became the inaugural artist signed to CORE Records, a label collaboration between Tomorrowland and Live Nation.
