Alarico
Milan-based electronic music artist Alarico, also known as Alarico Zucchi, began his journey in 2015, developing skills as both a DJ and producer. He formally adopted the 'Alarico' alias in 2019 to distinctly showcase a personal techno style, heavily influenced by the raw and forward-leaning sounds of 90s techno. Characterized by fast-paced rhythms and distinctive grooves, his sound encompasses what he describes as "nose-bleed" and "mental" techno. Alarico made his debut release in 2020 on Joton's Newrhytmic Records and subsequently launched his own vinyl imprint, Katana Records. He has also released music on OOM Records, continuously exploring sound possibilities and integrating elements from Hip Hop and Japanese culture into his work.
