Alex Neri

Alex Neri is an Italian producer, musician, and DJ who began his career DJing in Tuscany's clubs during the 1990s, focusing on new wave, electro funk, garage, and house music. He achieved international recognition through his DJ sets and co-founded the music project Kamasutra with Marco Baroni, releasing music globally. In 1999, Neri co-founded the band Planet Funk, whose debut single "Chase the Sun" topped international charts. Planet Funk has released four studio albums and a "Best Of" compilation. Neri also co-established the record label Tenax Recordings with Florence's Tenax Club, which released "Housetrack" in 2004, winning the Siae prize for the best-selling album from an independent label. He continues to produce and remix for various artists, and his DJ sets are known for blending experimental sounds with house music.
