Alexander Arpeggio
Alexander Arpeggio is a German DJ, producer, and label operator, originally from Ingolstadt, who has become a prominent figure in Berlin's dance music scene. His musical approach centers on the 80s and 90s cosmic dance culture, blending genres such as Italo disco, 80s wave, New German Wave (NDW), underground house, acid techno, and outsider pop, often characterized by a raw, lo-fi aesthetic. Arpeggio is known for his work in excavating and recontextualizing obscure tracks from dance music history, drawing connections between past and contemporary club sounds. He operates the labels Mond Musik and Eine Welt, which feature reissues, forgotten recordings, and new productions aligning with his sonic philosophy, and is also involved in band projects including OTTO and Aufgang B. His DJ performances have taken him to international venues across Europe, including Berghain/Panorama Bar.
