Âme

Âme is a German electronic music duo consisting of Frank Wiedemann and Kristian Beyer, who met in 2000 in their hometown of Karlsruhe. Drawing inspiration from Chicago house and Detroit techno, the duo began releasing music in 2003 for Sonar Kollektiv. They became widely recognized with their single "Rej," which showcased their distinct and compositional sound to a global audience. Beyond their productions, Âme are key partners in the Innervisions label and collective, alongside Dixon, where they contribute to the evolution of house music through curated releases and live events. The duo maintains a versatile live presence, with Beyer performing as a DJ and Wiedemann delivering live sets; they sometimes combine these formats as Âme II Âme. Their commitment to innovation and high standards has consistently positioned them as significant figures in electronic music.
